Sorry to hear. But was the failure really not raising. I felt like a little too much focus was put on that as the main failure. Raising is just a means to an end and buys you more time. Often just slowing down an inevitable death.

Having said that I do hope our company raises again or we will eventually die. But far more important to me is creating the product and hitting the metrics to make that raise make sense.
