As always, I have been using Audible and listening to books on 2.5x speed (I’ve slowly trained myself over the past 3 years and now perfectly comfortable in 2.5x-3x speed range). I recommend you to train your brain to listen faster too. It helps you stay focused on listening and not to be distracted and is an intersting mental exercise.
Do you feel that you take in the information as well when listening to things at this speed? How much do you retain a year on?
I recently got into ebooks as well, but question how effective it is versus reading and how I can do better to retain both the information I read and listen to.
Ps. My favourite audiobook so far has been Shoe Dog. Worth a listen if this wasn’t on a previous year’s list.
